Our 3 partners screen every deal first, lead the diligence and run the operations. Behind them are our members: operators who have built and scaled some of the world's best-known start-ups, scale-ups and corporations. That means the right questions asked, risks spotted early, and judgement grounded in having done the job.

We have a "no expert, no deal" rule. If nobody in our community can validate a deal, we do not do it.

Our structured approach to investment

Pre-screen

The Hermesa team reviews every deal, then puts the ones we rate in front of a member sector expert.

Expert screening

A deal only proceeds if the sector expert rates it and will invest their own money, subject to diligence.

Online pitch event

The company presents, members ask questions and indicate interest.

Diligence

Deep diligence led by the Hermesa team with the sector expert, following our standard process and written up in a full deal memo.

Investment

Members decide individually, deal by deal.
